CLOTHING DRIVE

STUDENT FLORIDA EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

The Flagler-Tallahassee chapter of SFEA has offered to assist our partner, Tallahassee Community College, with their clothing drive which will help TCC students get FREE professional clothing. 

We have a donation table set up in the Flagler office and donations will be accepted from now until September 5th. 

Check your closets and bring in the clothes you no longer want. Gently used clothing, shoes and accessories will be accepted, not just professional wear.

These donations will be given to Goodwill, and in return, vouchers for professional clothing will be issued to TCC students who need the clothes for interviews.

This is a great excuse to purge your closets!

DELEGATE ASSEMBLY

Our members will be attending the delegate assembly in Orlando, Florida. The Delegate Assembly (DA) is the annual meeting in which the FEA's highest decision-making body will unite to plan, discuss, and debate education issues and the organization's future course. Important decisions are made that impact education and association policy. Delegates are selected to represent the concerns and issues brought forth by their local union membership at the DA.We look forward to attending professional development sessions and bringing back a few useful tips!
